As we hop into Spring, there’s Easter in the air! Easter is such a fun holiday to celebrate, especially if you have little ones. Kick up your Easter day festivities with these 4 fun and easy Easter-themed treats the whole family will enjoy. Who knows one of these might become a new Easter tradition!

1. Sugar Cookies

Christmas isn’t the only time for cookie decorating. Make some fun Easter sugar cookies to decorate with the whole gang. Simply use a regular vanilla sugar cookie recipe like Ahead of Thyme's Easter Egg Cookie Recipe, buy a mix, or buy premade cookies for decorating.

2. Easter Oreo Bark

Oreo bark is simple, quick, and delicious. This recipe from Lil Luna will give you tasty Easter style Oreo bark in under an hour! 

Ingredients

  • Vanilla melting chocolate 
  • Spring M&Ms
  • Oreos
  • Sprinkles

Directions

  1. Melt your chocolate and pour evenly over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Sprinkle on M&Ms, sprinkles, and crushed up Oreos.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 mins and break apart to serve.



3. Chocolate Egg Nests

Bring the chirping birds of Spring indoors with this adorable chocolate egg nest recipe from Good House Keeping. 

Ingredients

  • 12 oz chocolate chips 
  • 3/4 cup nut butter
  • 10 oz chow mein noodles
  • Mini candy-coated eggs

Directions

  1. Melt your chocolate and nut butter until combined.
  2. Add your chow mein noodles to a bowl and cover with the melted chocolate and nut butter. Stir until coated.
  3. On a large wax paper baking sheet drop a small mound and shape it into a nest.
  4. Refrigerate until set. Fill the nest with chocolate eggs and serve.



4. Bunny Pancakes

Add a pop of springtime fun to your pancakes. Make pancake batter as usual and then pour into bunny shape. You can try to do your bunny all at once using a squeeze bottle, or freehand each section. Large circle for the body, a smaller circle for the head, two small ovals for feet, and two oblong shapes for the ears. 

Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkles and fruit, and serve!
