I discovered Swiss Dot sheet sets at Linen Chest at least 5 -6 years ago and they quickly became my go-to favourites. I love the crisp yet silky texture, and they hold up well wash after wash. I have them for all our beds, and only purchased new ones because we recently moved up to a King-size. If anything, I’d like to see a wider range of colours, because it would give me an excuse to get more.
This is my second set in 15 years. Love them so much. Especially in summer. I only wish the pockets on the fitted sheets were a couple of inches deeper to work better with the deep pillow top mattresses that are common these days.
Alright ladies and gents, listen here and listen good
These sheets were an impulse buy. I am a Walmart sheets girl through and through, but was getting a wee bit tired of how they practically disintegrate after a season.
So I found myself here, on Linen Chest at 2am, accompanied by a bag of chips and a trigger finger. My cart found itself being checked out with Queen sheet set, a bed skirt, and an extra set of pillow cases.
Did I spend the next few days not-so-casually dreading the $257 "Egyptian Cotton" sheets' arrival, in fear that they would be crap fabric? That customer service would tell me "oh they'll soften with a few washes sweetie"? You bet your left butt cheek.
The moment I laid my finger on the sheets I damn near cried. They. Are. Perfect. Whatever Egyptian Cotton is doing, it's doing it right. They're soft, cool for sweaty summers, and so, so gosh darn pretty. It's practically an act of self care to get these for yourself. If they're a splurge, get yourself on ice soup for a month. Worth it.
Note: the bed skirt is long, so if you don't have a bed frame like this broke human, probably don't get it. But get the sheets. Do it.
